WELCOME

I’m a proud Texas A&M graduate with a degree in accounting and a lifelong entrepreneurial spirit! I have danced since age 3, and have taken continuing education courses in ballet and attended many dance conferences over the years. I passionately continue to study the arts.

My husband and I, along with our three wonderful children—twin girls age 16 and a son who’s just a teenager—have called College Station home for the past 16 years. For the last 12, I’ve had the joy of teaching ballet in our local community, beginning when my girls were just four years old taking their first class at the Community Homeschool Center. Since those early years, Joy of Dance Ballet School has grown to over a 120 ballerinas ranging from our sweet three year old Tiny Tots to advancing pointe students. We have multiple teachers and class opportunities for committed ballet dancers. We are truly a local ballet company - except that we don't travel! We would love for your dancer to consider joining our family!

My love for ballet began when I slipped on my very first pair of ballet shoes at age three. That passion has grown into a deep appreciation for the joy, discipline, and sense of accomplishment it brings to young dancers. Teaching ballet is truly a blessing from the Lord, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my gift with so many children. In the words of the lovely Agnes de Mille, "Every dancer is an artist, and every performance tells a story."
